Does the teddy get to shoot the XCR? :p

Its a puppy hand puppet my little guys security blanket it goes absolutely everywhere with him.

Being that it is a hand puppet I guess it could shoot if it decided too though... :p

If you look closely @ the right front of the quad there is a gun case with a 26" barreled Rem 700 LSS in 300RUM for the really long shots.

Awsome camp. Wish I was there. Gun looks great. What calibre is your XCR? Hand loads?

I'd love to see the look on the face of the first "Fish Cop" you encounter.

Yeah, the xcr is great, who in their right mind would take a restricted
AR over one. My other rifles stay home now as the xcr fills both theIr positions. We're
heading up the Pitt river today, I've never been there before, I bet neither has an AR, my xcr is coming along. Ohh that reminds me, I put it away wet and with mud on it last Sunday. Ooopsydandels.

We're hunting between Princeton and Brookmere near Thynne Mtn.

I'm not much of a weekend hunter anymore we were out for 7 days/6 nights on this trip setup camp in 3 different locations...

It is kind of hard to hunt with a 3 1/2 year old almost took a shot at a fairly nice bear but it was up a steep hill that I would have had to carry Jaiden up and then back down while dragging a bear so no thanks.

I have both 223 & 6.8spc kits I am hunting with the 6.8 setup loaded with 95gr Barnes TTSX @ 2825fps with H322 powder make sure you use a slight crimp use a Lee factory crimp die.

With this setup/load and if conditions are right I'll shoot a deer out to 300 yards.
