Can you have too much reloading gear ???

That's awesome. When I bring something new home, I try to get it into my man cave before she sees it. If I succeed, then I know I'm safe. LOL

Once, I rode around with a new rifle in my truck for over a month before I got a day when I beat her home from work :D

I added another shelving unit with 6 more shelves and put 4 more into the one in the picture. Man, between shooting and my ham radio stuff the shelf space disappears WAY too fast.

blacksmithden,

I fail to comprehend the nature of your query, or the scope of it. From what I saw, it is quite clear that the core issue, is in relationship to the size of the room.

I cannot understand the notion of having too much gear, it is always an issue with space and relativity.

You see the more room you have , the less stuff you appear to have! So the problem is having a big enough room ! Not that you have too much stuff!

Blacksmith.... you don't have nearly enough stuff! :D You have my permisson to buy more shelves and stuff to put on them!

I'm in the process of building some cupboards, with drawers inside (that way you can close and lock the doors but you have the advantage of deep drawers for all the ..... stuff)

I have the same problem at my house..... I bought a shotty this summer, it lived in my work truck for 3 weeks before I beat her home from work.... She still thinks I have 10 or 11 guns....... Last count I had 23........

ALL HAIL THE MAN CAVE!!!! (and the CFC for making me buy lockable cabintes!)

Cheers!

Very nicely organized. I have a drawer full of stuff and more scattered on my bench. I need to organize it.

When I first got into reloading, we were in a house that we knew we were going to sell so I didn't set anything serious up. Everything was kept in a pile. When we moved back to Ontario for a year, we didn't buy a house...everything was in boxes or a pile again. Now that we're back in Alberta for the long haul, I'm going to build a first class setup. The area I have to work with is huge by my standards. I'm buying the wood to start building a 4 ft by 8 ft bench tomorrow. Can't wait !!!!

Heh, heh, heh.... I can see two shelves this guy will have to fill with new equipment once he gets his bench built and those presses mounted and same with his casting bench. How long will it be that those shelves stay empty? :)
