Can you hunt with the 20/5 round m14 mags?

It is still just a 5 round mag...

if you plan on using more than one mag (like more than one type of ammo) or plan on change them, it is better to use the 20/5 ones. The 5 round mags are hard to get out.....

I've always hunted with the 5/20's....

Nice platform during the offhand shots, especially at standing earthpigs who don't realize that an inbound 168 gr Sierra MK is around 100 steps away and closing.

in Ontario, center fire allows 3 rounds in your firearm, including 1 in the chamber- make sure you read the regulations- the CO will nail you

In ontario 3 rounds in a shot gun, centre fire rifle, the limit is 5 in an auto loader. and as many as youd like in a bolt and or more, example the enfield, load er up. you can legally have ten. and the M1 garande you can have 8 rounds in the mag legally. but as specified in any other centerfire semi auto rifle the mag should be pinned to 5.

While a pinned 20 round mag is legal, it'll draw all kinds of well meaning attention from the local constabulary and the CO's.
