Can you identify this magazine?

I have a real nice high quality metal magazine with absolutlly no markings on it that I cannot identify. It appears to be about 7 shot, I believe for either a 17 HMR or 22 mag rifle. Has a locking tab both front and rear and what appears to be an aluminum follower. I've found several mags that are similar; mostly Sako, Anschutz and CZ but no cigars.

7 shot might be a Marlin 917 magazine. To the best of my knowledge, it's the only modern 7 round mag in that size/caliber being made today. I don't think it has an aluminum follower, at least mine don't. Could be CZ, but it would either be a 5 or 10 round mag. Do a Google image search for "CZ 10 round steel magazine" and see if it's the one.

It sure don't look like a CZ.
Marlin uses the straight up and down style.

I've looked at 100's of pictures online over several days and have found a handful that are quite similar but nothing that matches. Hoping someone will recognize it from the pictures and shoot me a PM. With all the expertise here on CGN its hard to imagine that this is the only mag of its kind in the country. Cheers

Bingo! we have a winner. Thank you, Blastattack; much appreciated. I wonder how many Stirling 1500's are in Canada, they seem much more popular in NZ and Au.
