Hi,

With Dominion Arms Grizzly, can you pull the pump handle back, insert a shell thru the ejection port, then slide the pump handle forward to chamber it ?

You can do this with other shotguns but Grizzly uses a clip magazine, I'm just wondering if it affects loading thru the ejection port.

Thanks.

If the magazine is empty you should be able to without a problem. If there is still shells in the mag, you'll have a double feed.

No

Nope, if the mag is empty the follower stops the bolt from going forwards
+1

Should function the same as an 870 no?
........And again , NO

Yeah but its still a pita...not like a tube fed gun.

I haven't found it to be a pita at all. If I was firing in rapid succession I wouldn't bother with it regardless.. on any rifle/shotgun.. but for loading up before firing its cake. slide in the round into the chamber. Slide the pump handle forward. lock in the mag.

What if you remove the magazine, will it work ?

If you try to load a shell into the ejection port in a Grizzley MAG with the mag removed I'm sure it'll just fall out the bottom. If you really want to be tacticool, in the mag one you can remove the mag, turn the gun on ir's side so the shell doesn't fall out and load a shell. In the the Grizzley tube mag one there's no problem loading through the ejection port.

........and somebody gets it!!!!!!!!:bigHug:

Uh not to beat up on you but..it's a magazine..not a clip...

Made it post 15 before the Magazine/Clip Nazi's showed up .

"Good Lawd, he said 'clip' what on earth could he be talking about?!?!?!"

Given that even manufacturers are using the term clip, referring to detachable magazines, that's good enough for me.

just tried it. it works, but the snap cap fell out the bottom a few times, I'd say at least a good 60 degree angle is needed. with a bit of practice, im sure one could get good and quick with it.

Good lord, now the roommates are going to think I'm crazy, racking a shotty at 11:40 at night.... oh well.
