Nothing much happening, thought I'd post a picture and see if everyone knows their old pistols. Anyone know these and possible calibers? If you get these too fast, I will post some of my flintlock pistol and someone can tell me what it is I have.
I know, it's a long winter in the Yukon though and I'm bored.

Hey Casull,1858 remmy army 44,rogers & spencer army 44,8mm
lebel,Remmy rolling block 50,and I have no idea on the last.375rum

Well gezz leave one for me to guess eh! :D

That top far left one with the laynard ring is a tough call but im thinking Belgian 380 or some metric caliber. but im thinking belgian they leave there screws sticking outa the trigger gaurds. but i could be way off. :)

You got em. No 8mm Lebel in there Pete, you are insider guessing though. The pepperbox is a .32 rf. and the Belgian revolver a .380. That was quick! I need more guns.

without lookin @ other peoples.. I know thats a Remington Elliot Pepper box in the bottom right hand corner. They commonly came in 32rf.

The top right hand one seems to be a EUropean looking REvolver just telling by the design.

David,
The bore in that rolling block is great too. From the bench it will take 200 meter chickens everytime I can do my part. It shoots as well as the Contenders I've had. Buffalo Arms set me up with the dies and brass and a 300 grain mould too for not a lot of money. It's a favorite for sure and gets shot more than the others.

I got a double 8 inch barreled SXS 60 caliber pinfire with beautiful bores nice heavey rifleing if i can hit Turkeys at 50 yrds im gona be a happy camper :D but im still in the bullet makeing process.
the cases are 1.175 long made from 24 ga brass shotgun cases.
500 gr hollow based .597 bullets, i want to get some lighter ones. this gun is black powder only but well made.

Dingus,
I have a .60 flintlock smoothbore but I haven't been brave enough to shoot it yet. I make .577 Sniders from the 24 gauge cases too, they are handy and hard to find now. I have some new brass 20 ga. and 12ga. if you need them.
Sounds like quite the old Howda pistol there, I've only ever heard of them.
