can you purchase with just a pal# without card?

Just wondering if its possible to purchase guns/ammo with my pal# without recieving my card. Still waiting for my card to arrive but was given my pal# over the phone from miramichi. Dont want to miss out on good sales and limited stock

Yes because online I just give the info off the card. In person it will probably be store policy to see the card. Its going to depend on the vendor.
