It's called squirrel poop, and i can hear them from miles around pooping their guts out. And i understand them. Have a look at my new squirrel blasting tool.

Just opened your thread, and all the squirrels ran from my yard! I have slow dialup, and the picture wasn't even fully displayed yet.

If I listen close enough,I can hear my drawer full of targets are shifting around uncomfortably too.

Wouldn't want to be a squirrel anywhere near you! Now that's a .22 field gun to be proud of, nicely done! It's posts like yours that have me rekindling my love affair with my Anschutz bolt action. Bought a new scope for it 2 weeks ago, new rings should be arriving today. Watch for the "Can you smell that, part 2" thread I'll be posting shortly

Thanks for all the kind words. I bought that great rifle from a gunnutz in Montreal. Originally i was really looking for a finnfire. I knew there were other sako made rimfires but still finnfire was the aim. But when i saw that beauty, i fell for it. I'v been a CZ fan for many years and still like them alot, but that M78 is something else... The quality is everywhere on that little Sako.
Now, for next year, a Sako in 17hmr or even better, another M78 either in WMR or in Hornet. Now that would be the cream of the crop. Just by curiosity, anyone has ever seen an M78 Hornet in Canada? Now, i'm looking forward for "CAN YOU SMELL THAT" part 2.
