I think lever arms used to have a crate discount.
I thought about getting a crate of svts when they had them for 199 (170 per if you bought the crate I think) but there were 15 per crate and freight here was too much

They did, and it was called the investor pack. They no longer offer this deal.

Good question, I've been thinking about this for a while and wondering why I didn't do it a few years ago :/

I paid $50 for the box and $180 taxes in per rifle. I also was able to hand pick the ones I got as they came in. They would bring at least 25 in at a time. To me, this was a good deal and the company is great to deal with. It's a mixed banch but I don't care about that as some are builders others shooter and about five just to look at�� Oh and the Crete makes a cool table in my man cave to boot!

Definitely cool. I've given up hope of getting a crate without having to sell a kidney to cover the shipping. Think I'll just get a nice sheet of birch ply and make a copy.

As for safe storage, as I understand it, likely legal for NR with trigger locks, definitely legal for NR with trigger locks and firing pins removed. Unless you've got ten in there.
