Hi Everyone, I was looking at this woodenish grip said to be made for a cz75. Can these be trusted ? does anyone have experience with these ?

Agree... Pachmayr has been around for years making grips for Pistols, Revolver and other firearms accessories. I might try this wood-laminate grip on my CZ 85 Combat. You can also try this: https://www.amazon.ca/Hogue-Rubber-Wraparound-Finger-Grooves/dp/B000S5SCPM This Hogue Wraparound grip is thin and with finger grooves. Fits perfectly with no trimming on my 85 Combat. But my preference might differ from yours.

Pachmayr is a reputable company that has been around for years.

A large part of what I like about the feel of my CZ's in my hand comes from the rather "egg" shape that the stock grip scales provide. I find that they fit so that I get a nice contact pressure all the way around the grip area. If these maintain that egg like cross section with the "point" towards the rear then chances are I'd like them. And they certainly would make the gun look better.

But if they don't maintain that shape all bets are off. I don't like the flat aluminium grips on CZ's because they cause me to lose some of that even pressure. And FWIW I do have fairly large hands. I need L or XL size gloves. I've found that it's folks that take M to L that seem to prefer the flatter sided grips on the CZ's.

I've had really good luck with VZ grips on a bunch of 1911 pistols that I used to own and a L frame revolver I currently own. Pachmayr made their name back in the 1980s and early 1990s with some of the earliest rubber grips—I've owned many of their grips but to me, these new ones look like cheap grips made by some other company that paid Pachmayr to allow their name to be put on, or maybe that's what passes for factory Pachmayr grips these days. If it were me I'd pass on these and pay a bit more to get VZs in the pattern you like.

And, FWIW, I like factory CZ grips. I'm not sure what you mean by "they move from time to time". Are your grips screws nice and tight?

positive. If I turn it any tighter it is gonna crack the plastic. they have a little play in the front which feels like they are moving when shooting. They might have left the tolerance a little too large on this one.

Hmmm...that's unexpected. I wonder if the grips were swapped out at some point. I've owned a number of CZs and never had any issues with grip fitting.

I put pachmayer on my cz75 years ago. They worked fine but recently I went back to the plastic original grips and they actually fit my average size hand Beyer. Daughter and son in law have aluminum grips on thir czs and I think they are perfect.

Each hand is different though.
