can you use a .270,308,30-06 for coyotes

.270 seems to work Ok....

update to this,
with recent changes to the Ont Hunt Regs,
there is only a caliber restriction to a selected
number of townships as listed on page 71
in the regulations.
Any rifle (caliber) can be used during the closed
big game season (gun hunt) while small game hunting.
Electronic calls are also allowed now,
with the exceptions of Turkey and Water fowl
hunting.

This must be a new reg. for 2009. Previously in Ontario you had to keep the caliber to less than .275. I've always wanted to use my .30cals
for shooting coyotes just to stay familiar with my deer rifles. I will have to
check the regs for the outlined townships.
I always thought this was a Bullsh--t rule anyways. Why is it ok to fire a
.270 south of hwy #7 but not a .30-30 apparently the people that wrote the book don't have a clue.:kickInTheNuts: CDN1
