Just got one - first crossbow.

Does anyone know how to put it together - instructions are horrible.

Thanks.

Is outdoorbunker a Canadian company or do you have to import the stuff from the states?
no canadaammo has them that is just a video I found quickly.

Just got mine. First of all: great customer service by Paul of CanadaAmmo: I revisited my order a couple of times and all changes were captured.

Cross-bow came with 10 short arrows, 5 long and 5 fishing arrows. Assembly took 1 minute (1 bolt).
Took time to figure out how to #### it - there is a button on the top of the stock that should be depressed.

Overall impression: typically cheaply made (chineese?) thing [with crude plastic stock, a little loose parts, metal guide parts got scratched after a couple of shots by string, etc] which is functional and will bring you some fun. I am quite satisfied, didn't expected much for $50 and this crossbow sure is a great toy (this is my first crossbow as well).

It already made nice go throw holes from 4 meters in carton box and pinched drywall after it in depth about 5 mm.
Priced about right I guess.

day 2: cocking "stock" fell off :(.
It actually would not "####" properly, so i'm guessing there was a defect with mine. I'll send Canada Ammo an email later when i have time. I'm sure this does not reflect anyone else's crossbow, i think there was a bit of mis-shaping i the sheet metal guide that caused it not to fully engage when the string was fully pulled back. Hard for me to explain, i'll take pics later

Well, that what I was worried about after couple of shots: stock swings on some plastic rivet which I think will not hold long. Out to hardware store to grab steel bolt and nut to replace it when it gets broken.

If justin bieber is playing with crossbows I'll be happy.
Next we just need to get him out with a shotgun and turn millions of teenage fans into a a market for trap fields >:)

steel rivet, plastic end caps holding it in. It actually tore up some of the plastic on it's way out :/... However a nut & bolt, good idea! Make sure your sheet metal siding is firmly pressed up against the sides where it should be , mine was bending outwards, causing the cocking bars to seize, and not fully retract backwards along the guide. I didnt know this at the time, so i spent a bit of time trying to #### it, then snap! Hmm should be an easy fix ;)

Hello Michael,

We received the crossbow and inspected and confirmed that it is defective.
Therefore we have exchanged it and shipped you a new one today via
CanadaPost, tracking number...

Thank you.
Absolutely excellent customer service, A+ ! It seems it was a defect, isolated to my crossbow, not a general problem. They are great little things, i recommend grabbing one before they run out! They covered all the shipping costs, and repackaging. Absolutely great service, thanks CanAm :D

I'm suprised considering how quick people react to calling a magazine a clip that nobodys commented that crossbows shoot bolts not arrows
