Canada Ammo Norinco 45 deal

I took mine to the range last night and had zero failures out of 164 rounds. The finish is nice for a Norinco. All it really needs is better sights, as it was shooting a little high, and some trigger work. Best $170 I've spent in a long while.

does anyone know what country would buy norinco 1911's for their army? i bought one and im sure it will be fine but what country would offer cheap Chinese products to their soldiers? (outside china)
Are you kidding?
All military surplus at the infantry level is to the lowest bidder, always has been, always will be.
But that's not necessarily a bad thing. KISS principle at work.

I bought 2. They arrived, but not before I purchased a 3rd.....

Out of the box the triggers was pretty bad, the norks that I have from 2009 til now have much better triggers out of the box.

That said. $180 for a build gun (that is what I was assuming when I bought them) they are fantastic!

I already dropped in some parts to one of mine, polished the internals and put 250(ish) rounds through it (as of today). The nork ammo seems to group about the same out the 5 1911s I've tried it out of. Minute of pie plate at 25y. I do a bit better with my hand loads, but that seems to be a decent average.

This brings my stable of 1911 pistols to 11, with #12 on the way.....

Cheers!

I fired 1000 rds Norinco 45 ball ammo all same outing, no jams and shot very well out of my STI Lawman. No dirtier than 4.2 Bulleseye folks .... good price for factory ball ammo.
