yes i got my 1200 rd 7.62x39 took 2 1/2 weeks but i got it, and thanks for emailing me right away to answer all my stupid questions !!:D

Canada Ammo have offered great deals and free shipping and are simply breaking new ground when it comes to firearms related retailing in Canada. Their pricing and selection is attractive and I believe the response from the buying public has been slightly overwhelming. It takes time and a great deal of hard work to streamline a rapidly growing retail company but I think CA is making improvements quite effectively. I expect they will catch up and shipping will be faster as time goes on. From what I've seen, Canada Ammo has been more than reasonable when it comes to fixing problems and dealing with complaints.

Most people who deal with Canada Ammo don't mind the delay because they know it is still the best deal around. Of course there will always be people that complain because some people are just like that. Most reasonable people will understand.

Maybe because their shipping time/delay is totally unreasonable since at least a year.

I don't buy there anymore for many reasons and this factor is among them.

Bought from them once, and probably won't buy from them again. It took them two weeks to even cash my EMT, and another three before I received my ammo. Sure the prices are good, but I don't want to wait a month and a half for my purchase. I am fully willing to pay a few extra bucks to get it sooner.

Patience has never been a virtue of mine. Although I did get a kick out of the kids toy box they shipped it in, along with the free paper targets.

Great deals, free shipping. Patience is a virtue.

Agreed 110%!!! Recently I have bought the 1911 & ammo combo AND a case of 1600 rounds of 223/556 AND a case of 1000 7.62x51... CanAm offers deals that most of us firearm enthusiasts just can't resist...

I'm going to do my very best to NOT buy anything from CanAm until the T97 rifles arrive... The last time I said that, I subsequently bought the case of 7.62x51, chuckle!

Cheers
Jay

Love doing business with them and will continue. By the way, if you let them arm you, they'll arm your gnome for free

If you want the good deals you have to be patient grasshopper....
Good things comes to those who wait.
Canada Ammo has always delivered and their website is up to date.

This is a far cry from 1967 where a gun or ammo ordered from Century International in Montreal took over a month - the order took a week to get there via Canada post and their shipping policy was cheapest method - rail.
There were many times the freight would come into the N.A.R. station at 7:30 and the station agent would meet me at the high school to give me a ride to the station to pick up a new milsurr. We would unwrap it in the station and Fred would keep it there till noon. He would have cleaned out the cosmoline and have a couple of boxes of ammo. We would go out to the dump and shoot tin cans, or what ever target presented itself.
His biggest disappointment was when my mother ordered Venetian blinds....

I do miss the attitude of the folks in the 1960s "Say son, you got a new gun there, lets see it? Why the hell would you buy one of those old relics? I had one of those issued to me in the service - when can we shoot it?"

It took me about a month to realize that thing was a pen. I was playing around with it and was like "oh crap I broke it", then noticed the pen tip and thought "well what do ya know".

I thought it was just a decorative gimmick until I read a post about a pen and then realized what was up.. Once my wife finished that crocheting project, something in my head clicked and I couldn't resist :D

I buy from them when i don't care when I get it.
Their process time is by most the slowest. Shipping is extra slow.
Everytime i buy anything from them it would be something really cheap and stuff that I don't care if i get it soon enough or not.
Compare to other retailers, who are also busy. They are slow especially they don't have a retail front to distract their work.
That's what you get sometimes from discount stores.

AGREED, CAN'T RESIST!
I bought the following in 1 month from CANAM, just couldn't resist.
1. Pps-50 5000 ammo combo
2. Sks ammo combo
3. Crate of 223
4. Got TWO 8.5' griz mag shot guns with spare mags to boot
5. Misc accessories in the hundreds
6. T97 pre order

If people can't wait 3 weeks, don't want the savings, and the free shipping, all I have to say to that is "it's your money, spend it where every you want, just stop complaining about CANAM shipping time, this storey is old. Just go away and buy from where ever. More deals and savings for us lol." :onCrack:

You don't have to ever check thier site! As soon as any really good deal is announced, seconds later its posted here on CGN!

I have stopped checking thier site but that has done nothing to stop the ammo crates from arriving :)

Their lead time on shipping makes things a little complicated for me. However, on every order I have put in the notes "Please ship on ### date, or as close to that as possible", and I choose a date that is 3 or 4 weeks away when I know I will be home. Every time they have had the order accepted by Canpar within a day of the date I specified.

That said, my last two Canpar experiences have lead me to not be willing to order anything that will be shipped by them. It's being looked into, so I'll have to follow up on that...
