canada ammo

i have noticed some of there ammo is higher, some lower, 7.62 x 51.... try finding a lower price... seriously, i cashed in when they took it down to $360. before i was paying $275 for 500 rounds.

Agreed 110%!!! Recently I have bought the 1911 & ammo combo AND a case of 1600 rounds of 223/556 AND a case of 1000 7.62x51... CanAm offers deals that most of us firearm enthusiasts just can't resist...

I'm going to do my very best to NOT buy anything from CanAm until the T97 rifles arrive... The last time I said that, I subsequently bought the case of 7.62x51, chuckle!

Cheers
Jay

Great place to shop...Awsome prices...In stock items...Free shipping...thank you very much...to all of you who ##### about shipping time should learn to plan farther ahead...

Thanks again for the great deals...

Adam

Maybe because their shipping time/delay is totally unreasonable since at least a year.

I don't buy there anymore for many reasons and this factor is among them.

You are welcome to your opinion but I don't share it. I deal with bigger issues and screw-ups than that before breakfast starts on most days. I fully expect that CA will work towards improving those shipping lead times but everyone is free to make their own purchasing decisions and if you want to limit your sources then that is your business and nobody else's.

With the price i paid for the 7.62x51 ($359+tax), I just can't see how CanAM is able to hide the extra shipping cost in the price. The price is already low (even for surplus/steel casing). Typically ammo shipping is based on location and weight, it is anywhere from $30 and up. So if u take away $30 from $359, it will be $329 for 1000 rds of 7.62x51. If that is your meaning of shipping is not free. LOL

Btw, my case of 7.62x51 just walked through my front door. No question asked by the Canpar delivery guy. Ordered on July 20th, processed on the 22nd, shipping info sent on Aug. 1st, Delivered on Aug. 2nd. Total of 14 days (10 business days) . that is very reasonable based on the experience I had with various retailers across Canada.

Well was just at wsp and they got 7.62x39 finally so the guy who buys one of there sks's can actually shoot it bit it was 300$ a crate, can am still better deal

Was at Cabelas today, they're selling Romanian crates for $320. Ludicrous! Thanks for hooking me up on the cheap Can Am! :50cal:

The can par guy called me when I was at work, "can the gas station sign for you " gotta love small towns, and awhile back on here somebody was crying about how it says small arms on the can par sticker, what did they think was in there two cinderblocks lol

Are you a joker or an idiot ?

He's right. If shipping was really "free", what's stopping them for offering free shipping for anything under $200? Becasue when you buy lower than 200 dollars, there is no enough meat on the bone to offset shipping costs. I mean, it's free, right? You must love those 40% off sales after the store jacks up the price 40% and then crosses it out to show you the savings.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Canada Ammo. Over the past year I have placed at least 4 individual orders and all arrived in less than 9 days, including the CFO approvals for restricted firearms. Great to deal with, even when orders have some complications to them. I'll continue to send my business their way.
