Congratulations go out to Ken Soucie of the Windsor Action Pistol Club for today making Master in CDP. This completes the circle and he is now Five Gun Master in all five IDPA Divisions.

Sweet!

He's been trying to do it for a little while now, always off by 1-3 seconds. Last weekend, he mentioned something about trying to classify again this Saturday, but that won't be needed :)

Bet he'll probably go back to doing some revolver shootin now, haven't seen him shoot revolver yet, but I hear its quite fast.

Ken shooting revolver is surely something to see, he can reload his six-gun damn near as fast as most people can reload their autos !!..just awesome

CONGRATS KEN !

cheers

You should watch someone who really knows what they are doing then, it will blow your mind

Madness - Ken is currently the State Champion of three States and has beaten shooters such as Ayood, head to head. Not bad for a Canuck from Windsor.

In order for shooters to be able to compete with their peers, IDPA competitors are divided into classifications within each division based upon their skill level. In order of increasing skill level they are: Marksman (MM); Sharpshooter (SS); Expert (EX), and Master (MA).

IDPA is divided into five (5) divisions that are entirely separate. None of the following divisions compete against any other division: Stock Service Pistol (SSP); Enhanced Service Pistol (ESP); Custom Defensive Pistol (CDP); Enhanced Service Revolver (ESR); and Stock Service Revolver (SSR).

A 5 gun master has demonstrated the highest level of skill in all of the 5 divisions ... quite an accomplishment!

I know exactly who he is, compared to the people who really know how to shoot a revo ( Jerry Miculek, Niles Jonassen, Cliff Walsh) he's nothing special.
big fish small puddle situation.

The appropriate response would be to just type 'congratulations' and move on.

His accomplishment isn't marred by the fact that he's not the best shooter in the world.

It's still a huge accomplishment to achieve 5 gun Master, you should just say "Congrats", and keep your negative comments to yourself.
