Canada Post May Be Back to Work

I’m sure most have resorted to other options as well. There’s no doubt there’s gunne be mail waiting to go. But I don’t think as bad as everyone’s making it out to be. Who knows. Maybe they’ll turn a profit in January moving full trucks of ####

I know everyone thinks they just been piling up with sh!t seeing as they’re not delivering anything.
But guess what. They’re not accepting anything either.
This “backlog” crap cracks me up. Use your head. The damn doors are closed at both ends.
Your forgetting about all the inbound international mail from hundreds of countries that's sitting at various ports, border crossings , airports in trucks, trailers, containers etc waiting to be handed off to Canada Post

At this point a lot of mail has been denied acceptance at their PO's. I have seen posts from 4 different countries regarding their PO's refusing to accept mail as the Canadian side isnt accepting packages anymore. The system has been deemed full

I saw on the idiot box that there is apparently over 50,000 passports and almost as many government checks that are also currently back-logged and caught up in the mail right now.

This could create a huge slow-down as well.......:(

I think I'll continue to use FedEx for a few more weeks.

Indeed, I won't be using CP until after New Years Day. This should give the disgruntled employees a little time to cool off.......:)

I think moving forward, I will ship all firearms broken down and wrapped very well. There are several Liberal/NDP gun hating CP employees that will deliberately vandalize or steal a shipment that looks like an original firearm box. And the over-length cost is also ridiculously expensive.

Added insurance also seems to be a waste of money as I have heard Canada Post rarely pays for stolen or lost firearms.

What a sh!t show!......:(

CP is saying March 2025 is when things will be caught up and moving normally.

No service guarantees are in place, so no point shipping express or expedited.

This morning my Arken showed up that I ordered from you guys back in November about 2 days before the strike hit. Glad it showed up before Christmas, I have some coyote hunting to do over Christmas break. Thanks again!
Thanks for your patience and your business!!!!
Merry Christmas; happy hunting

That's what burns my as, I payed $27.00 to have a letter sent Express so tht it would get there before the strike. Guess what. never made it. when I was tracking it I went into the FAQ's and found tht there are no guarantees. So why the extra charge. F!@kin' bastards

lots of other countries stoping accepting mail to Canada durring the strike.

Stuff in time for Christmas; LOL. I ordered some little things from another company the day before they returned. They had it ready to ship the same day. Couple days and no pick up notice; I sent them an email and they told me they expected pick up Wed. and that they had about two truck-loads to ship. It was picked up thursday, and early friday morning this is the status of the tracking; and it still is this morning. I'm thinking work-to rule time. They may be back at work, but maybe not "to work". Here in stratford, we did get two government cheques, but with the back-log, we should be getting a lot of other stuff (bills, cards etc). Nothing.

I ordered thursday afternoon amd my package showed up friday. Thanks guys.

It does suck that everybody is suffering from government caused inflation amd the government just keeps legislating people back to work.
