Canada Post On Line Shipping System is Down!

So it's Black Friday Weekend and Canada Post is down meaning no carrier shipping rates!

They are aware of it and are working on it - Sorry for any inconvenience.


I have added a flat rate shipping item to the web site so that you can still place orders but I cant ship any orders until Canada Post resolves the issue. Hopefully it will be resolved very soon. They say this is a system wide issue so I am sure it is affecting other vendors that use carrier calculated shipping rates also.

Thanks for the heads up! I happen to be waiting for a parcel and used the tracking # on the website but it says the # is not in their system. I can't find any info about a problem on their site yet and nothing online. Has anybody else had issues with tracking? Wondering if the WHOLE shipping/tracking end of things is screwed or if I was sent the wrong #.

Canada post stinks. They've lost my items on several occasions! Unfortunately there aren't a whole lot of alternative shipping options. Good luck its the busiest time of the year for shipping! Happy holidays

Problem solved. BTW my parcel was through EPPS not SSS. Epps had it ready to ship on Friday but CP doesn't pick up on Fridays and EPPS is closed on Monday so my # was put in the system on Friday with no physical action taken until TUESDAY!! Thanks to SSS for contacting me to find a way to solve the problem. This is the sort of proactive position I'd expect from a company that will certainly be getting my business in the future!
