Hope this helps, there is a regular flight to Dieppe from your area for parcels/mail if you like and staff to sort on demand as needed. Think of it as a city bus, it always goes to the end of the street, not every time is there a passenger. So dedicated routes, efficient company, like you said carry a parcel east when it needs to go west.... the plane already had a destination long before you interest was beckoned. Your box thrown in, in the middle of the journey. To stop the process already in motion, people, machines infrastructure etc.... Your not that important..... to actually expect one person to pick up your mail/parcel and say well he is just over there I will just get that to his highness right now is so inefficient it won't work. Canada post is awesome be thankful and really if this was click bait.. you got me that said Canada Post employees do an excellent job!!!!!
