Canada target of latest anti-trophy-hunting campaign after 'disgusting' grizzly hunt

Go hunting , take a camera , shoot some video... At the same time know your limits, use reason, and post the good stuff ! A minute of bear shot at a quarter mile is not impressive in my books. Neither is three or four shots with the same degree of accuracy over a two-three minute span. Enjoy your hunt, take pride in fulfilling the tag but in some cases keep the footage private if it did not go quite as planned.

What ever please pass the
I certainly wouldnt be overly proud of that that one and the quick clip of the look on the guides face shows there is some serious work about to unfold.
The animal was taken in fair chase and harvested as best as could be licenses and guide fees and taxes all paid?
If so then its just another anti hunting video...

That's really the bottom line. Not everyone is a marksman, not everyone spends all their waking hours shooting and in the bush. Some get nervous and make poor shots. We have all seen worse I am sure. I know I have seen some pretty sorry shots taken at deer.

He was doing his best, which maybe isn't up to everyone's standard but that's the way it is.
It was legal, so leave it be

I never take pictures/video of the active hunt, its the one time I can enjoy life without technology be one with nature etc, I take pictures of the result to show how much freezer space was lost, that's it, as for this guy he missed, guess what people miss, people really need to learn basic ballistics, bullets do not fly like lasers like on tv, there is drop compensation, wind ,etc (why am I telling you guys this you know it already) not every hunt can be perfect, if it was it would be called shopping

You are correct Sir. If it was easy and successful every time it would be called Grocery Shopping. ;)

No poor shots or near misses here.

Not sure how anyone can say "not enough gun", the first shot that hit was a kill shot and right through, you see it hit the ground on the far side of the animal and you see the Bear spin, he was hit good. It's a no win situation for the hunter that filmed this. I suspect that if he only fired that one shot, the Bear would have bleed out in roughly the same time and still slide down the hill hemorrhaging blood and everyone would be pissing in his cornflakes that he should have kept shooting!! Most people I know that hunt grizz follow the same game plan, keep shooting until it's down, period.

These hunters have a bounty on their head themselves, posted by The Association for the Protection of Fur Bearing Animals on W. Broadway in Vancouver.
I will be adding to that bounty, and soliciting Cristy Clarke to end Grizzly Bear Trophy /Head Hunting in B.C. just as they have in Alberta.

90% of British Columbians are against Grizzly Bear Trophy Hunting.

Regardless that it was legal, the optics are bad. If you do something that makes all of us look bad don't post it on the internet for all to see and use to judge all hunters by.

90% of British Columbians have no opinion whatsoever. 10% have strong opinions one way or the other. #### like this causes us to lose the 90%.

I don't get people. No one is making you hunt bears. Why do you have a need to stop others from doing so?
