One thing that most people have noticed is that the adjustable sights on the Camam 1911 suck. Mine seem to be completely off, so I am looking for replacements.
Any suggestions? Are these just a standard size where I can slip on a set of new sights?
Front is much narrower then most 1911's I've seen, no idea what would fit it. The rear looks like a Bomar....but I haven't tried one on it.
Both will likely take lots of fitting.
Other than the fact that I can't get the rear sight to go far enough to the left, to get me centered on target, I don't find them too bad.
Guess I'm gonna have to move the front sight.
The finish didn't look any hell on the pictures. Don't know why I expected them to look better in person!
If you disassemble the rear sight completely, you can adjust the amount and distance the rear sight drifts. If its not moving enough with the adjustment screw, disassemble, adjust to the position you want and re-tighten the adjustment screw.
