Just wanted to know if anyone has canceled their Outlaw shotgun order or other order/s with Canadaammo due to a variety of reasons? what was your experience?

i originally pre-ordered 2 backpackers, but then money got a little tight so i requested they cut the order down to one, and they said no problems:)

I ordered an outlaw in January, then never heard back from canam for almost a month, so I ended up buying one in the meantime on the EE.
(I love the gun by the way, not only does it work as it is supposed to, but it has peaked the interest of a couple co-workers of mine enough that they are now going to go for their PALs,so, money well spent as far as I'm concerned)

I'm in the same boat ordered an outlaw 40 days ago and when they finally replied back to my repeated emails they said it hadn't even been sent and that there was still a wait. From now on The EE is my new Canadammo. I have no complaints about what they bring in and am happy they do it. But from what i've read/people i've talked to they are a 50/50 operation, 50% satisfied, 50% pissed, i happen to be the latter.

I sent in my order or an Outlaw on Feb 9th and this week the order status was changed to 'Processed'. I have no idea what that actually means.

My guess is they brough way too many cool toys in the last shipment... and didn't expect to have this many order, so fast.

It took about a month for my Outlaw to show up... I would have like to have it sooner, but hey! Life is too short to worry about such petty thing as late delivery...

That's exactly what happened. They even looked in to hiring help here on CGN.
They got swamped because they offered too many cool toys at too good a price.

I wouldn't blame them if they did like most stores do and bumped their prices way up.

Same profit, just less customers.

I ordered one 2 weeks ago and the money is still in my account and "Queued" on their website.... i got tired of waiting so i cancelled it and ordered a norinco 20g sxs 20inch from trade ex... one of my friends waited more thn 3weeks just to learn that they were "processing it"

cheers

sorry guys, i was in the same boat, ordered my gun on the 21st of january, and got it a few days ago (its now for sale on the exchange forum).

I was kinda pissed at canam, but then i thought about it like this.
They employ fewer people, therefore pay less money to workers, then they can still offer the guns to us for a damn cheap price.

i was still anxious to get my gun, and fired off emails to them, they were always prompt to get me a response, and let me tell you, once that gun gets in your hands, all the hard feelings of wait time melt away, believe me folks, the wait is worth it!

I ordered one, called about a week later, and my status is now "processed" they told me that they have a lot of orders to process, and not a lot of staff. I can totally understand their dillema, and will wait anxiously for my Outlaw. They have a lot of cool stuff, and I am grateful for the job they are doing. I understand the problems of the small business person...as I am one as well. I hope to deal with them more in the future, they seem like a forward thinking company who is just going through some "growing pains" I can wait...it's not life or death if I get my Outlaw. Come on you guys who are waiting as well, have a little patience and understanding. There aren't a lot of company's like this out there, so lets be thankful for the ones that we have!

I'm new but you guys sound like whiny old women.
Cut the guy some slack, he's at every HACS show in Burnaby why be anonymous cutthroats and badmouth him on the net?
Textbook example of cowardice and lack of balls, you got a problem with somebody why not say it to their face?

I agree, Chris is a decent man. He is working with what he has.

I was waiting for my Tavor for it months and months. They have to play the wait game as well, when it comes to ordering.

Canada Ammo should have their banner removed from the site, they suck ass.

And STFU to you!

Who are you and why would anyone listen to you.

All you that like to just ##### about a site sponcer can just STFU.
READ the explanations, they seem valid and fair.

Move to QC and see how long you wait.

If your so passionate about complaining, try complaining to your politicians about firearm laws and provincial burocrates screwing with the law abiding!

The key in business is to not get people's expectations up .....if you are swamped then tell people that the wait is up to 3 months.....when the product arrives in 6 or 7 weeks the customer will be happy because you exceeded his expectation.

Don't tell someone it will ship in the next couple of days if in fact you have no idea when it will ship....much better to take your best estimate and then triple it so that no ones expectations are too high!

Sure you might loose a few people who don't want to wait but there will be less bad word of mouth advertising.
