Looking at the equipment exchange 12(x) section, someone just got extremely lucky. A Canadian C1A1 for $700 WOW. There can't be too many around in the hands of private collectors. Lucky guy someone didn't know what they had.

Reading that ad really pissed me off. Knowing that some poor window is at risk of losing the value of her husband's estate because of this prohibited status garbage is infuriating.

I used to have one. It was one of the ex OPP rifles in the 8L series and it was a blast from the past for me from my old military days. When I bought it, they were only restricted. Stupidly, I sold it before they went to prohib class.

I remember MilArm had one in the '90's. They were asking $3000 for it complete with transit case and accessories. Then the prohib came in to effect in '93 and it sold for $1000.
