I bought a Pistol. There was no fault on their part. They were pretty timely about the shipping and paperwork. It was a little slow because I picked a really busy time to order, happens I guess.
However, I don't know if I'd buy a gun online sight unseen again. The process left some things to be desired. The gun in question I wouldn't have bought if I handled it in a shop, because it had a water stain that tarnished the frame, corrosion under the grips, corrosion on the hammer. I can't speak as to their service level because I elected to try and polish this out to my own satisfaction on my own and didn't raise the issue with Canada Ammo. Then when the sight broke off of the gun I ended up sending it to Ruger for warranty and asking them to do something about the corrosion at the same time. Ruger replaced the whole gun to my satisfaction with no questions asked, so it was all perfectly fine. But as to the process of buying a gun online, it was a first time for me and I don't know if I'll do it again.
Communication was always quick and responsive via email. Courteous and to the point. Don't seem like a chatty bunch though. Was a bit disappointed with the response I got from a few inquiries about ammo or items that were out of stock. But overall I've never had anything but good luck in dealing with them.
