Are these still available and are they being considered non restriced?
Still a KelTec, thus, Canada's shortest non-restricted paperweight.
My KSG Never had any problems. It always seems to leave me with a bruise on my face and should be shot with long sleeves because the shells eject onto your fore arm.

What minimum length part? There is no minimum length requirement for Non restricted firearms.

Mare's legs are shorter than the prescribed OAL.. so there are exceptions/exemptions to the rules.
Interestingly, the Mare's leg with 12" barrel is classified as a rifle.
The mares leg with 9" barrel is classified as a handgun, in that it is designed or intended to be operated with one hand. The two firearms are otherwise identical in function and design.
The Firearms Lab is a bunch of hacks who just make stuff up. Gun owners would be doing the community a favour to stop acting like that whimsical musings of the SFSS constitutes "rules".

Really surprises me that these aren't being imported in mass. I get the whole NFA thing complicates things for Vault but shouldn't be a problem for IRG, and given how quickly they sold out last time you would think that they would try and get more in.
