Canadian Army question

CF doesn't care what side you shoot from. Doesn't matter anyway. The empties are not gently removed and deposited next to you. There are no issues shooting anything the CF has left either.
If you're in combat and your rifle is inoperable you are in big trouble. You won't be able to shoot right with an inoperable rifle either. Run!!!

Gotta sign for the new rank and poorly designed giant flag.

How is the new flag poorly designed? Dislike the size of it or something else?

I didn't know clothing stores was requiring people to sign for those items, maybe it's due to the limited stock at the moment? I assume limited anyways as it seems people are only able to get one of each at the moment.

I didn't sign for any of it. They just won't give out extras and for some reason they do t have any subdued components for it for the field

Do you ever bother wearing flags(subdued or not) on your cbts in the field? I mean, if you are really keen...you could put an IR one on I suppose but more than likely half the flag is covered by your frag vest even on the ECU shirt.

Sometimes you have to, including carrying a stupid red one in your pocket.

Actually i wore no flag because getting the one and only red/white one you have dirty in the Grade AAA Alberta beef poo dust isn't a good idea. It was an interesting exercise. FFO all the time, no frag vest.

Yup, good times

Same as breaking out your boot polish kit to clean your boots because they send you in camp and only have your field boots on you, or yours are so dirty that you need to clean them. Then Beret, red flag and semi shined boots. Yet you smell like dog ####... Oh the army.

The dimensions seem off, too long. The material is crappy I find and the sides roll up.

I guess not everyone is signing for the rank and flag but some have to.

I own an ar and fire southpaw all the time with her. I really dont understand why people are making such a bloody big deal about it. Bullpups are the only rifles that require lefties to switch usually. I dont own left handed guns and I do just fine. Guess it is the same crew of people who think they need to outfit their guns with the best accessories inorder to shoot them. People like to over think everything.

First video I ever watched on the Tavor was done by a lefty. No, it wasn't converted to southpaw. He was great big hulk of a guy, and if it was a problem for him, it sure wasn't evident. No "Tavor face".

My wife is a lefty and was surprised to hear that she should be bothered by ejected brass from her AR 15. I did install an ambi-safety and cocking handle for her. She also has a right handed Rem 870 20 ga. Tactical and considers it ideal for a lefty to use.

Of course you can request a left handed AR - you won't get one, and you may forever be labelled as "that guy" but you can certainly request one. There are lots of things you can do, and can request, in the military, it doesn't mean you'll receive a satisfactory answer, or like the long term results.

I was in the Army for 26 years. I concur, you can request anything, just dont hold your breath for what you want. C7/C8 deflects the spent casing away from the shooter left handed or right.

No kidding. Ask my wife who has 5 hot casing marks on her boobs from shooting a tavor.
