canadian barrel makers

There was a thread in the hunting rifle section about Jury barrels if you're curious. Not exactly loaded with info but maybe something worth checking out.

I've gotten a few barrels from Bob Jury. The first one is looking promising so far, and he's been easy to deal with.

I'll also add a thumbs up for JC Custom Barrels, I have two of his now, very nice work and a good guy to deal with too.

Can someone confirm Ted Gaillard is no longer making barrels?

I know for sure Rob McLennan stopped making barrels because I spoke with him over the summer and heard Ted had hurt his back so might have taken a bit of time to recoop but still making barrels from what I'm hearing

I have a J.C. 30 cal Sendero Taper coming in the mail, looking forward to it. We seem to have lost a lot of Canadian barrel makers lately. The two guys in B.C. who made them died last year. Now no McLennan's.

Got a Ron Smith 300 SAUM barrel and it is one smooth barrel hardly any copper deposits.
