I have a Wealthsimple Cash card. It’s prepaid so good for using online as a burner card in general if you’re super paranoid about security. 1% cash back, and it has a virtual number for online purchases. Might get the Scotia Passport VI in the future if I get a bank account with them again and get the fee waiver.

Hmmm they don't have the amazon.ca credit card. That is another free option.

That’s because it has a forex fee. The old one didn’t but the current one does. You get 1% back so it’s essentially a 1.5% forex fee instead of 2.5% but it still has the fee.

We have the Roger's World Elite. When we got it there was an annual fee, but it was waived if you autopay your Roger's phone bill with it. That site says its a no fee card now, so maybe that has changed - I know they changed a lot of things a few years ago.

The whole reason we got this card was its high cash back on USD purchases, more than covers the forex fees.

Also the 80k a year thing is not actually a requirement, at least not if you start with their lower tier card and get upgraded via use. We don't make $80k a year.

If y'all are good using a visa debit, check out WISE. Their exchange rates are good and you can hold other currencies as well. I have WISE linked to my bank account, so it costs $0 to send money to my WISE account only when I need it. They also let you create virtual visa cards that you can freeze on command.

Brim also offers a free Mastercard with no transaction fees. I used hometrust before them and wasn’t a huge fan but both are good options

My friend’s account on wise was recently blocked and they didn’t tell me why. They just wrote that he can appeal. And after I submitted it, they finally blocked the account and said that they would not explain anything. Although he certainly did not commit any illegal actions. Very strange policy. I read on DashDevs details about ewallet app development. And it seems to me that companies offering digital wallets should be more open about their actions and explain to the user why their account was blocked. Perhaps this is due to some security bug or something else

Maybe they're getting out of the business? Something similar happened to me with my Amazon VISA.

If you're on TD, and have a TD direct investing account, you can open a usd chequing account with a visa card that charges NO forex fees.

You simply pay it off with your regular chequing account every month (or whatever). I only leanred this when I called them

It is great that you have found a card that suits your needs so well. Pay by phone is another convenient option for efficient payment management. I've been looking for different ways to simplify transactions, especially for online services. Check out https://casinosfest.com/casino-payment/pay-by-phone/ to see how to pay your Canadian casino bills using your phone. It is a fast and secure way to make payments without using a credit card. All that remains is to choose one of the platforms and enjoy the game.(y)

I I have been playing GoGoGold for a couple of weeks now and I can say that the game is really addictive! The graphics are top-notch, everything is bright, and the controls are intuitive. Even if you are not a pro, you will figure it out quickly. There are bonus rounds and free spins, which makes the process even more interesting. I started with minimum bets and gradually got into it. Of course, as in any slot, winning is a matter of luck, but the odds are quite adequate. I would recommend starting with the demo version to get a feel for the game. If you want to learn more and try it yourself, go to https://gogogold.app/. There you can immediately start playing without any fuss.

WISE (formerly TransferWise) has become quite popular for international money transfers, and it's great to hear you’ve had a positive experience with it. The ability to hold multiple currencies and get good exchange rates is definitely a big advantage, especially for those who frequently need to send or receive money across borders.

I have Wise (mastercard) and Brim (visa), both work good.

my Wise is used mainly for payments to and from Europe and the Brim is mainly used by my daughter while she was a year in South America and now while travelling a few months in Asia.
