Canadian International Sniper Concentration

Not official yet but looks like we placed 4th. We won the night shoot and the word is that I won the pistol competition. I'll find out later.

From the Canadian Army Facebook page:

If you could tell me the backpack type harness for the rifle in the second pic that would be great!

Now bring them plaques to the bar and sample the local talent it will be bountiful with them plaques. Err Mrs. swissin would probably have a new change purse made of nut skin LOL! On second thought leave them in the room;-)

Looks like somebody did well in arts and crafts. How good/available was the native scrim for you guys? What were your letters for TI in the stalk? Just curious, some of the courses (Instructor dependent) tend to have a sense of humour was was wondering if it translated into the competition.

Glad to hear the Canadians are doing well in the international arena.

Say, who won?

We actually had to get PID on an actual person. We had a tgt package with his face in it. There were 6 ppl and we had to pick the right one out of the crowd. It was very fun and realistic. 3 VP took it this year.

Senior swissin dominated in the pistola portion! With a borrowed G22 ! He was número UNO among guys who practice allot;-)

Unless its changed, the pistol event is a 2 man shoot with the sniper and spotter shooting. Myself and my partner won the pistol event during the 2008 CISC. We both got plaques and our names on the trophy.

This year they told us it was an individual event with the winner taking all. I was first out of 56 shooters. Then somewhere between the pistol shoot and the banquet some ass decided it would be a team event. Because a pistol is a team weapon right? So stupid. So since I got first and my partner got 43rd we were bumped to 3rd overall. (My partner admits he is terrible with a pistol)
