Canadian IPSC Nationals

Presumably you've shot one day matches, so it's like that only 3 days long. Typically with much better stages, and (depending on who you shoot against locally) higher quality competition.

Figure a couple hundred dollars for the match entry fee.
Typically held on the Thu/Fri/Sat of the August long weekend.

The more competition the better! I am down south right now: looking for and finding guys willing to kick my ass!

Sardonic smiley face emoticon. Theirs people that Do, and those that smiley emoticon. I'm coming for your invisible IPSC trophies and participation ribbons. I drink all your chili up.

No firm dates yet. Hope your sitting down when match fee comes out. Could be as high as $350, hope l'm wrong.

As far as I can recall always the same July/August long weekend. Thinking about doing Rooster Mountain in Sweden instead this year, same price for airfare and a bigger match, with hotter women.

Does the Swedish Bikini Team still exist?

Likely won't be that timing, due to the Pan Am games in Toronto. There won't be a hotel available for a hojillion miles during that time.

I doubt very much the match date will change it's been the same date for years, and for good reason, matches of its type require a ton of travel and time off, long weekends are necessary.

Don't know what to tell you... all my conversations with the outgoing and incoming Board of Directors of IPSC Ontario have indicated otherwise up to this point. Not that anything is carved in stone yet.

I know it's going back a ways, but the 2001 Canadian Nationals was held on the July long weekend. With the way it was run ( a changeover) I want to say that was run as a 2 day match, but I think it must have been 3. Is anybody else with a longer, better memory able to recall what it was like?

If they are going to move it (which IPSC Canada would have to approve I think) they'd better tell people soon, flights are cheapest if booked in the next month or so.

Something had better be announced soon, people are already booking time off work. Usually time around long weekends dissappears quick.
