Who works on lever guns here in Canada? I know there's someone in BC that makes Guide Guns into takedowns ala Wild West Guns, but I can't remember the name. Who else works on levers up here? I just can't see sending it to He Whose Name Shall Not Be Spoken. Not that he'd do a bad job, but it is kind of contrary to his ethos. And he's probably call me bad names for making him work on a lever to boot!

Pud did some work on my 336C a while back. Only other smith I can think of was Emile (Red Deer) - but he retired more than a few years ago.

Dave Jennings out of Pritchard BC does the "Takedown" conversions on Leverguns:cool:

Jennings...that's who I was thinking about. Damned WWG is peddling Guide Guns in 50 Alaskan. Now I'm starting to think about what to do with that 50 blank I recently bought.

Anyone know if Jennings has a website? I'm sure he does, but damned if I can find it.
