Canadian National Steel Challenge 2016

The Buffalo Target Shooters Association (BTSA) is pleased to welcome you to Canadian National Steel Challenge 2016!

This is a three day event being held on 19, 20 and 21 Aug 2016 by BTSA at the Homestead range on the edge of the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains, just west of Calgary, AB.

We will be shooting the standard 8 Steel Challenge stages in the Main and Rimfire events, while also recognizing Steel Master.

There is a maximum of 2 main guns and 2 rimfire guns.

EACH GUN MUST BE REGISTERED SEPARATELY.

Up to 2 guns will be shot per day.
If you are shooting 1 or 2 guns you may request a preferred shooting day on the registration form.
If you are shooting 3 or 4 guns you will be shooting 2 or 3 days.

First gun is $70, additional guns are $30 each.

Please submit payment by EMT to match@btsa.ca for the full match fee.
Please use the Question "Steel Password" and Password "BTSA2016".
Registration is not complete until BTSA has received payment.

Very likely. If things are going well you can shoot 8 stages in the morning and 8 stages in the afternoon.

we run our steel challenge every week in Abby, I can't make the match to defend my title this year sadly as I'll be overseas in Russia shooting. But I saw the guy above post that he thought it was pistols only. I figured I'd ask if there was a rimfire rifle for sure, maybe he'd be into that.

Does anyone know where the rimfire start flag is supposed to be in "Outer Limits" Is it 10' in front of the center box? The rules say "Where multiple boxes are on a stage such as in Outer Limits, the flag will be placed in the center of the array." Do they mean the array of boxes or the array of targets? I'm asking here because I figure this is where all the Steel Challenge gurus will be.
