Canadian nationals

It will be in the April Diligentia, and released through the Web site around the same time.

This is match will be a sell out - care must be taken to ensure almost everyone gets a fair chance to register.

There is some initial information now available through the link on the IPSC Canada web site.
 
yer well i hope everyone does get a fair shake, this will be the only nats i get to go to in the nexed few years.
i,m only 20mins away :)
Ive booked the whole week off so it dont matter when i shoot but it would be nice to shoot with buddys i know.

2006 IPSC Nationals!

Match Dates
Pre – match - Aug. 1st
Competitor sign in. – Aug. 1st – 7:00 PM – Days Inn
Competition dates – Aug 2nd through 5th
Shoot off – Aug. 6th
Banquet – Aug. 6th. at 7:00 PM – Days Inn – Convention Centre


Rooms have been set aside and are in the range of $ 104.00 per night double occupancy. Match reservations should be made under the 2006 IPSC Nationals Championship.

Kingston is 2 ½ hours from Toronto and 1 ½ hours from Ottawa. Air Canada Regional flies directly to Kingston from Toronto 6 times a day.


Match Hotel is the Days Inn, Kingston, Ontario and is conveniently located at Exit 617 of Hwy. 401 (Division Street).

It is less than 5 minutes from the Frontenac Rifle and Pistol Club and 10 minutes from the downtown waterfront. The Days Inn Kingston, Hotel & Convention Centre is also just minutes away from all of Greater Kingston's leading attractions. 1. Get an ATT from your CFO to transport to the match.

2. Pack your gun with a trigger lock on it in a locked case in one piece of your checked luggage. Place a copy of the ATT in the locked handgun case.

3. Pack your ammo (if you are bringing any) in another piece of checked luggage. (Canjet won't let you take ammo and there is a weight limit with all carriers)

4. Go to the Airport - tell the baggage attendant that you have to declare an unloaded, locked firearm and some ammunition in a different case.

5. Fill out the form they give you and keep one copy for yourself. Carry it and a copy of the ATT with you. Cringe when they put the "Steal me" err... "Ammunition" stickers on the bag with the ammo in it.

6. Wave bye bye to your luggage and hope to see it on the luggage carousel when you get to Kingston.

(If you're IPSC1... there's 5.5 - start planning to borrow a gun when you get to the match and 7. go home and wait for your gun to follow eventually... :( )
