Does anyone know of a repair center (preferably Canadian) where I can order replacement parts for a set of M-22 7X50 Steiner binos. (Rubber Armored version issued to US Military) The ocular lens adjustment rings and rubber sun shades were damaged while hunting and need to be replaced. The ocular lens cover need replacing as well.

I've tried contacting the US repair center and they won't even give me the courtesy of a piss-off E-mail or fax, let alone actually offering to sell me the parts or pointing me in the right direction.

These are an older set of binos, probably from the Desert Storm era, and are marked W. Germany.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, Steiner does not have a Canadian repair/parts center everything is handled by Pioneer Research in New Jersey. About a year ago I called them and said I had a pair of 7 X 50 Night Hunter binos that just spent 2 years banging around in a Hum Vee in the big sandbox, and that they belong to an ex US Special Forces operative serving as a "Civilian Contractor" and could I get some parts for my binos. I could not have been treated better, parts were available (ocular eye cups and ocular dust cover) I got both cups for $28.00 the normal price for a single one and the dust cover was no charge, shipping was very minimal and I had the parts with in a week. They asked if I wanted my binos checked over, they would do it for no charge except parts if necessary, but it could take up to 6 weeks as they were servicing other optics from the war zones. They apologized for the time it could take and would try to rush them for me if necessary, very good group to deal with.
