Canadian sage like stock @ Milarm!!!!

Still wanna see pics. I think I saw something along those lines on here once. I'd rather a M4 style buttstock but I must admit that I've never handled or shot the Sage so I can't say that I wouldn't like the classic Sage stock either.

But Canadian made goods rock and I wouldn't feel bad about paying a bit more to support a Canadian maker.
 
One of the minor problems with this stock, and its not with the stock but rather the Chinese welded on flash hiders, you have got to remove the flash hider and gas system to remove the handguard retainer then install a washer (Provided) to take up the space of the handguard retainer then re-install everything else. Oyher than that, it looks pretty interesting. Not my cup of tea but the Look cool guys are gonna love it!

That is a very easy procedure though. All I had to do was loosen the castle nut and with one soft tap, it was off!
 
I still like the look of a black synthetic socom 16 style stock to something that looks like you ought to be shooting at robots or aliens. I love seeing a fellow saskatchawan resident do something lke this. There are alot of people with mad skills and creativity who are striking out on thier own now that traditional employers like the pulp and mining industry(farming to) that have gone kaput.
 
I still prefer the SAGE with the collapsible design and the cheek piece, I really have a preference for the AR style SOPMOD stock these days.
 
It looks like the grooves are in the side of the receiver the same as the sage, so perhaps the other style buttstock might be possible?

It's great to see Canadian products like this being released. :)

That’s a lot of money. If it works as a good scope platform it would be more financially feasible and I think I would buy one, but it's got to work well (read: looking forward to some reviews :D )

I got a 100$ deposit on one at milarm for my P&D socom 18.5" norc. I don't think I will buy one though. I just put an arms#18 and leopold scope on my m14 and like it like. The one at milarm is cool, but I don't know what kind of cheekweld you will get with a scope.
 
One with a retractable or removable stock and a much shorter barrel would make a decent car gun for some of our contractor members? If you like the Spas 12 shotgun you will love this thing.
 
Ouch! All those sharp edges would chew your hands up in a heartbeat. One patrol and I'd be bleeding. There is no accounting for Look Cool Factor.
 
What I've gotten from them so far by email is:

1) the alloy used in the manufacture, from appearances I would suspect a 70 series alloy, possibly 7076
2) Weight is approx. 3 pounds
3) The Op- rod guide is replaced by a more substantial block, but you
can use the existing block should you choose to.
4) Cost delivered will be $922.20 to your door. (this would be to SW Ont).

I've sent another email about what is included (buttstock, fwd handgrip, etc). Probably have to wait til Tuesday for a reply. From all outward and inward (oprod block) appearances, it is very similar to the SAGE. In discussion with SAGE's sales rep, it would cost me about the same thing to pick up at the factory in Michigan, for their version, after $ conversion and tax.
