I believe the fences are baffles to keep people from being able to shoot the range floor. Im assuming the range floor is hard enough that the cfo was concerned about ricochet ? I could be wrong though.
I keep forgetting to shoot video.......ribbons are only half of the equation, the big fins on the wind flags are a better indication to direction

2 mile an hour wind will move a 40 grain .22 bullet 1/4" at 50 yds.Why bother with wind indicators at such short distances?
Yodave: what targets do you shoot there? Usbr or ir50?
I'm realizing that I need a couple of wind flags for the kind of bench shooting I've been doing lately--short-range benchrest shooting with a couple of 6 PPCs. I tried searching on "wind flags" on several subforums under Equipment Exchange, and got nothing.
So who is a good source in Canada for wind flags--ideally at an affordable price?
