Yep, I'm getting pretty much 100% bullet coverage with the Emerald Coatings powder and the shake & bake method using pre-heated bullets. And before anyone asks, the powder goes on white so you can see how much coverage you have. It only turns clear when heated.Clear is just fine
I use eastwood clear its easy to apply and I get it from kms tools in edmonton.
This is the best stuff I've used so far. The clear seems to do a thinner coat than the colours do.
The more pigment a powder has the tougher it is to coat. Thats why clear is a no brainer. Lack of pigment is also why it goes on thinner
Eastwood from KMS seems to work well. Although I haven't tried or needed to try any other powders or colors.
