Canadian source for magazines.

Is there a Canadian source for 10/22 mags that don't fit flush? My big paws hate mag changes with the flush mags. My google fu only found 25 round mags pinned to 10 and there too long for prone shooting. My brain tells me back in the day that there was straight stacked 10 rounders in a clear or smoked color that would be perfect but I can't find them (maybe made by butler creek this is many many moons ago) Is there anything like that out there. All I can find is factory 10's and the 25 rounders pinned.

I went to an extended mag release! Big difference.

The gun came with one from factory but the mags still hang up and have to be pulled out. Iam going to grab some fresh mags on Wednesday and see if they pop out nice but was hoping that the extended 10 rounders might still exist.

Butler Creek steel lip 10rnd mags are what you're thinking of. They came in clear/smokey and in my experience worked very well. I'm sure you could still find some on the shelf somewhere in Canada.

On the EE there are bump pads for sale.

the couplers that stack two mags are my favorite. can run quiet segmented subs for pests and have some spicy stingers just a mag flip away. plus they give you some substance for mag changes.

BX-15 would be ideal

for a grip, SBI BX-1 base plate at various cdn vendors

I have found that I have to work my mags with a file to get them to drop out with just the release. I don't think I have ever had one that dropped without some adjusting.

That said you could also have 3d printed adapters added to the bottom to facilitate removal.

4 mags for my Ruger LRT all drop out easily, never a hang up on mt mags, oem mag release
BUT the rifle has to be horizontal
Just a quick flip of the release before moving position
