I asked a specific question earlier, but for some reason that resulted in my thread being deleted...so here i go with a general question:

Could anyone suggest some possible Canadian sources (or specialists) for vintage Mauser rimfire parts?

TIA.

There are no sources, if you get extraordinarily lucky you may find parts at a gun show. I came across a rear diopter for a "b" series Mauser rimfire at a gunshow once.
Your best chances of finding parts are within collectors circles. I saw your WTB add for the rear sight and I've only come across 3. Those three were all posted on eBay over the last eight years that I've been following these types of rifles.
You could try making some friends at RFC, I know one collector let a tangent sight go recently.

Thanks Gordon, that's good advice.

I am fortunate that the rifle i recently acquired came with a very nice original diopter, but finding a tangent sight or the micrometer would be great as well.

Here is a photo of the rifle, but I will post a few more in a separate thread for anyone interested.

That's a great looking example you have there! Be sure to post and share if you're lucky enough to find a rear sight.
