Been beating my head on the desk trying to find info with the search function. Trying to find suppliers for black powder, and black powder shooting stuff, in Alberta and Saskatchewan. I know that there is at least one small outfit, in SK. but darned if I can dig up their name and contact info. Primary want is a can or two of BP, other stuff as I see fit. I am a little surprised (well OK, maybe not so much, in light of the site sponsor thing) that there is not more info about the place. Worth making a sticky? I dunno. Most of the suppliers that are site sponsors, seem to be concentrated at the "other" end of the technology time line, so I don't think it would be a step on their toes, would it? Cheers Trev

The Soldier Shop in Calgary AB (he's rite behind franklin mall now and has a website to) sell's english flint's, import flinter's, misc small stuff as well.
The owner at TSS told me there's a lady up by innisfail who has a powder mag and sell's original black by the pound in Fg-FFg-FFFg so someone may want to hound him for the name and number.
Del's Gun Shop, Vernon BC has lyman gun's, misc consumable's as well as Goex powder..... i love that store.

Thanks much, guys! Hillfolk was the outfit I was looking for, I'm pretty sure.
I was in Saskatoon Gunsmith Shoppe Ltd., on Ave C north, in Saskatoon. Easy to get to, coming in from the north, take the turn-off at circle drive, and follow Ave C . A couple blocks down, it's on the left (east) side, acroos the street from the Trader Publications office. The fellow there was decent to deal with, and had a couple cans of powder in the display case.
He also had son MT Chambers boolits around.
I tried contacting him via his website, and got no reply. Given that the phone never stopped ringing while I was in the shop, I can understand that the email would have been a lower priority.
The gentleman I dealt with, was polite, and professional, and I would like to recomend him as a guy to consider dealing with.
He had the parts I needed, too.
He gave me a few other suppliers info, too.
For BPCR dies and brass, he suggested contacting a fellow named Jenkinson (spelling?) @(250)442-5718

I just got a case from a private dealer in Edmonton for 18.00 $$ lb for Goex FF. Great guy to deal with. I will find out if I can post his name & ph # or pm me. Two years ago I bought 2 lbs in Prince George cost me 94.00$$ A littel to much sand in the VASOLINE for me
