Canadian telescope stand for regimental scout telescope

So I bought this years ago for next to nothing and had this leather cover I had no idea for what and the magic of google put 2+2 together for me. However the leather is British broad arrow marked. Anyone have a Canadian one to trade or see one for sale ever? Not for sale as I have a LB 45 4T to go with it.

The stand no27 was used with a paralleloscope. It may well have been used with other instruments as well....most of the stands were. http://nigelef.tripod.com/sights.htm

So it is for arty use. Do those parallelscopes turn up for sale?

Yes, artillery. Yes, they turn up for sale. But then you have to start buying howitzers, then limbers, then artillery tractors....the list never ends. Therein lies the path to madness, poverty, and broken marriages. Probably best if you just give me the stand.

Ha ha ok. I do need a telescope to fit the regimental stand. Trade? ��. I have witnessed the madness first hand.

I.in fact, have the scope you seek sitting on my desk here, but I'm afraid it is already sitting on one of those C1A1 stands. Besides, it has sentimental value....I bought it at the saturday market in KAF.

I have that type as well as the folding style, mine also has the Brit covers, I think that was normal
