Hey guys,

I was at Canadian Tire today and picked up some 12 ga 2 3/4 000 Buckshot that was on clearance. They said they weren't getting it anymore or that Federal was ceasing to manufacture it (the kid didn't really know). I went to another location in town but they didn't have any.

It's Federal Power-Shok 12Ga 2 3/4 000 Buckshot. It was less than $4 bucks a box, so it might be something for you shotgunners to look into. Bought the last they had, which sucked 'cause it was only 6 boxes....

2 3/4 000? our canadian tire doesnt even sell it all they have is the 3" federal 000 thats a good deal tho....

Bro - if you could list where you live or at what the Canadian Tire the sale was at, that would be great.

It was the Canadian Tire store located in Thunder Bay, Ont. on Fort William Rd.

Like I said it was Federal Power-Shok, the kind in the blue and black boxes. Unfortunately, the sale will vary from store to store as I called the other store in town and since it's a 'red tag' sale it's a sale within that specific store but isn't necessarily at the others. I asked if they would match the price at the other location and they said they wouldn't.

Maybe if I showed up with a receipt and asked the store manager really nice if they would - might be worth a shot. Same goes for anyone else, except for the receipt part. It was almost 50% off...

canadian tire in kenora ON has lots of bullets on sale, I got some nosler CTs for $15 a box, and barnes TSXs for $30 a box. there was lots of other gun stuff for sale. can't remember if they had the powder on sale though

The Ottawa store at Blair and Montreal had three 50% off tickets posted in the ammo locker.
The 50% off inventory in the locker was:
2 boxes of 170 grain - 32 Winchester
2 boxes of 16 gauge 00 Buck
0 boxes of 12 gauge 000 Buck

The clerk said "What you see is all we have. They are clearance and are no longer going to be stocked".

Your CT sells powder? Really?

All the CT stores I have been to in BC only sell center fire rifle, shotgun, and rimfire ammo. No bullets, no powders and no primers.

This is getting expensive for me. Just to let anyone know in the Oshawa area, Canadian Tire at Gibb/Stevenson has lots of Federal 000 buck on clearance. The smaller gauges are 3.23 for a box of 5. I bought 10 boxes of 12 gauge 000 buck for 3.90 each and there were quite a few left as of one hour ago.
