Oh goodie, another WTD hunting show...

Maybe we could get a Bass Fishing show to follow it....... never enough of those.

Seriously though, what is this going to offer that will make it more interesting than seeing big deer get whacked by someone with a Southern drawl?

At least Outdoor Quest last night had a show dedicated to shooting mulie does (props to Schwanky for that one). Something different every now and then is nice.

Looks like a good show, congrads! I will check it out when it airs, I get wildtv.

I hope that you endeavor to teach technique and strategy, at least a little. The majority of the hunting shows teach very little and as a result I don't watch very many of them. I would like to learn something as well as be entertained. I am tired of watching highlight reels of kill shots.

But good on you for what looks like some quality Canadian content. That Canadian Wingshooter show is another good example of a great Canadian show. Those guys seem to be ethical and they try and teach you something as well which is nice to see for a change.

I know the producer from another site; an absolute whitetail fanatic. I really enjoyed his first vid and will definately tune in to see the show. It's good to see regular people filming real hunts!

Hey guys my name is Dean, and am the producer of the show.

It's hard to explain a show... So I guess youll have to choose to watch...or not.

I can outline the show. We got sick of watching hunt stacked on top of hunt of 100" whitetails, and people flipping out about it being the next WR.

About 70% of our shows are one "kill" shows. We run a Scouting Segment in each episode...Scouting Segment? We refused to do a pro tip of the week thing, so chose to pick 13 things we think helps pre-season, during or after the season, to kill big deer... and called it a scouting segment. Not showing or telling anyone what to do, or how to do it, just showing them what WE do. As well, several of the shows show right from where and why we set a stand up in the summer, to the hunt that fall.

Its not a hero hunter show, just focused on the deer. So theres alot more footage of pretty fawns in the sunlight than there is of Jimmy singing, or Bobby bantering with some celebrity.

Yes, Jasons 209" Blades is on episode 1. We had filmed him a few years, and filmed a few hunts for him over that time too, its a good episode. We gt a bit lucky this year and filmed several of the biggest deer on camera, but its not nessicarly about inches, rather appreciating whitetails.

Watch the show, take what you will from it on your level of enjoyment and we are always looking for feedback. For guys that are trashing yet another "whitetail" show, if you can find time to do that on here, take a minute to watch and reserve your judgment for when its actually and educated one.

Speaking of another "whitetail" show, we dont have a single Canadian one until now.

i hope it all stayes canadian and does not get bought buy some american company like everything else up here

Were not for sale Bulldog, the whole basis of the show was to be Canadian BUT< I have a good friend in Iowa that will be doing 1 hunt a year for us... I hope one will be acceptable, after all it is a net boone and crocket Typical with the bow.

There in about as short supply as sarcastic posters on internet forums.

sjemac, nothing really. Except its filmed in your back yard, not 10,000 acres of private managed land in Illinois.
And were not outdoor quest, or going to be doing a show on mulie does, or mulie bucks for that matter. Watch it, judge it.

I am not really out to teach anyone... I am no one to teach. Heck I just work 50hr weeks at a steel shop and love to hunt whitetails. What we have done though is put a focus on how we hunt deer. Show more than the kill, so people can take away from it what they want. Show people what we DO, not tell them what they should do/use/be etc.
