marking them Grizzly-mag fixes that. if they happen to fit in the mythical cougar-mag, so be it. think of the babies you could ravage with a 14" mag fed semiauto 12 ga. the saiga 12 must have ramped infant murder rates exponentially in the states, this will do the same here. or we could think logically...but so far logic seems to get stomped out by uneducated, emotional reactions that help the ignorant sleep at night.

14 in is the smart thing to do due to the gas ports on the bbl, at 12.5 you would lose to much out off the end of the bbl, and the gas port would have to be so big that the recoil would not be fun at all and you would be looking at beating up the gun and damaging parts.

Feel free to enlighten the RCMP vis-vie the MP-22 magazine circle jerk.

Feel free to enlighten Smith & Wesson that they should not have advertised the magazine as belonging to a handgun as well as a rifle. The RCMP have no fault in that matter.

Ten-round AIA Enfield magazines are still perfectly legal despite the fact they fit and function in the M-14. Ten round LAR-15 magazines are still perfectly legal despite the fact they fit and function in all AR-15s. And Grizzly pump-action magazines will still be perfectly legal as long as they are advertised and sold as being specifically for Grizzly pump action shotguns regardless of capacity or what other guns they might happen to fit.

Being a fan of the Saiga 12, if there were to be a well-priced (ie, 5-650) mag fed semi shotgun I would go apes**t. I guarantee you I would be selling my Mossberg.
