New Dominion Smokeless Powders
This week we will be introducing 2 new powders to the Dominion line of products:

D800 - Double base flake powder for shotguns and Pistol. Use 800X data, minus 10% and work up the load.
D4198 - Extruded rifle powder for small cased cartridges like 7.62x39 and 223. Use IMR4198 data less 10% and work up the load

These are OEM, not canister grade, so you must work up the load with each lot number.

We will be listing them on the site later this week

Introductory price $129.99 for 5lbs

Price isn't bad considering they ship free over $200. Hopefully they come out with others over time.

I was wondering if the 5 pounds is from the same lot. It might be a hassle working up the load for every pound.

According to CanadaAmmo, the shipment is all the same lot for each type. More details and some questions answered are in the link posted by the OP.

CanAm has posted all the powder they have in stock is from the same lot.
Edit: looks like I type too slow.

If you read the thread, it's Canadian made and comes repacked in 5lb bags/cans. Each 5lbs will be from the same lot they buy. When they sell out and buy a new batch you will need to drop back and recheck your loads is all.
There will vary a bit more from lot to lot then commercial powders. They will sell you a 35lb keg all from the same lot if you want ...

All these dam suppliers keep stealing my money!!! I'm going to order a keg of powder just because it's available :) Hopefully my new go to powder for 223 plinking loads. only 12,000 rounds though :(

im curious how the 4198 will be for AR's. im reading mixed things about it. people generally say its great for .223 in a bolt action rifle but not so good for ARs. do you have any experience loading this powder for an AR?
