Yeah, it's a crappy deal, but that's what it is. Timing couldn't be better, since I have some family business that has come up for the weekend too. Looks like the Gun Gods weren't smiling on us this time :p

You're right. Work sometimes has to come first though, especially when the bulk of the income goes to funding toys, hobbies, and whatever it is that spins your crank.

I figure I'll be able to put other priorities first once I'm in my late 50s like my dad can these days, but even he still grabs his "GO NOW" bag if the phone rings.

I'll spare the philosophical discussion for another thread, or even better: a night at the pub over some pints and a few plates of wings.
