*CANCELED*Edmonton CQB Clinic and Match, July 26 & 27!*CANCELED* See post 93.

Any AB/SK Nutz who need a ride from the Lloydminster area to attend this even can hitch a ride with the ole' rookie. Don't want to see a minor logistical speedbump prevent a gunny from having a good time.

PM to arrange.

Now THAT's the spirit!!!!

Sounds like a good time, Grizz put me and Melanie down.
Done and done!

Is there an instructional portion to this as well? I've never been to one of these things before and would like to get a feel for how things go. I've taken a look at the CoF and it sounds interesting

All day Saturday we'll be learning. Sunday is the match. This is a first for me in a few ways, since I not only get to learn how to shoot the match, but run it too. It's also a crash-refresher in Logistics training that I had when I was a teenager planning training exercises when I was a cadet... but this time I can't go to my CO (who wore the TrgO hat too) and ask him if I'm doing it right or ####ing #### up. :p

Same as you, this'll be my first CQB clinic. As far as I understand it, the 26th is a full day of instructional stuff.

Gonna be a lot of new CQB shooters out. and you understand correctly. :)

Hey gang, the wife has informed me that "we" have plans for this weekend 😭

I'll let you guys know if things change but for now I'll have to step out.

Have fun everyone!

Okay... let me get this straight... You signed up for this like a month ago. And she tells you NOW that you have plans?

This is why the best gift my wife ever gave me was divorce papers.

I'm trying to get some people signed up, but they're all friggen noobs. At least three of them have done the CRFSC, but haven't put in their license application because they suck. I don't have enough guns to loan out anyways.

We need to make this happen, I need a good birthday present this year.

I WISH I could say I'm 100%, but our project just got put on hold so if I find a job that starts and ships me out of town before then I won't make it. If I'm in town I'm there for sure.

Been wanting to get into this stuff for awhile, this sounds perfect for us first timers!

Say the word and I'll put you on the list. I know how it can be having to scramble when the phone rings.

Just confirmed my schedule is clear. Count me in.
Awesome. ADDED!

K, slap me on the list. I'll do everything I can to be there. :)

Might have a buddy I'll try to convince to come as well.

You're on the list, keep me posted about your buddy!

Are we at 34 now?

Do we have to have 40 or no go?

33 + 1 possible. ;)

Ideally, 40 is our hard minimum, but I'm pretty sure we'll go if we're close. My primary concern is that Longshot's costs are covered. Any "profits" thereafter get put towards buying targets, stands, and all the other gear necessary to run matches that rival the ones on the coast. I'd say go ahead and book your hotel rooms and stuff. If this suddenly falls apart, I'll kill it with plenty of warning so no one loses money.
