I'm curious to see if any canik tp9sf owners have changed out the factory sights. I notice tp9sf aftermarket sights in Canada are almost completely unobtainum.

I've heard that the front sight cut is Smith and Wesson m and p, and the rear is glock (except for g43). Wanted to see if anyone has experience on this.

Thanks in advance :)

If I wanted to research this I would go to the Dawson precision websight and note the part number for the Canik front and rear and then go look at the part numbers listed for M&P and Glock to see if they are the same. If so, you would know what to order.

Truglo makes a set of Tritium Pro sights that are designed for the Canik TP Series manufactured after january 2016.

I ordered a set from Mark at colonel mustard for my tp9sa. I'm just waiting for my sight pusher to arrive from bulls eye before I install them.

Great website! Dawson doesn't have any part numbers from what I could see. When I added what I wanted to the cart it only displayed item description. Looks like I'll be calling them today.

i emailed their distributor in the states because my dad wanted me to swap out his front site with a bigger fiber optic.
this was their answer :
“Our slide’s front sight cut has same dimension with S&W - M&P series”
so my dad picked up a bigger FO front from HiViz for like $40 and it popped on with no issues.

I'm no expert pistolero but I find the front sight too wide. I have a hard time getting a decent sight picture. Or it's because I'm not an expert pistolero yet. I used to have a tokarev and I could hit steel from the prone position at 100m. The sight as I recall tapered to a very narrow point at the top.
