Canik TP9SFx: Anyone tried one yet?

For experimental purposes I bought a DPM Walther PPQ M2 RSA kit from Wolverine.

Came with 2 springs. Shorter silver and longer gold. Usally the silver spring is supposed to be for +p loads but since its shorter and easier to install/compress I am assuming its the weaker of the the 2.

Walther RSA from DPM fits pefect. Put some oil on spring and racked slide back about 100 times to break in.

Still just shooting X-Metal 124gr coated lead and I am very pleased with quality of this ammo, next time I will bring my chrono.

Put some 3M safety tape on grip. Fired 334 rounds(668 total). Gun ran perfect and hasnt been cleaned yet at all.

I started with Silver spring and Walther DPM RSA. Noticed ejection was slightly stronger than factory RSA. Switched back and forth from DPM to factory. It seemed to shoot a little better and faster with DPM kit.( might be a placebo effect) but the DPM seemed to smooth out the recoil.

Tried Gold spring in DPM kit it ejection was equal to that of factory spring. No malfunctions using any of RSAs.

Let my strong hand thumb ride on top of weak hand thumb(away from slide lever) and she locked open on all but a couple of empty mags.

Burris FF II appears to be holding its zero just fine.

Now I want to test these spring weights and go a little lighter and find a softer shooting load for the wife.

I bought everything at Wolverine. The pistol, ammo and DPM Walther RSA kit. Fastest shipping and transfer times... The whole package is awesome.

Really hope Canik comes out with .45 or 10mm.

If they were to do a TP40SFX this would solve my Major / Minor issue with IPSC! It is tough running a minor gun against all of the Majors Tac Sports and Tangs.

Finally made it back to the range. Had zero issues shooting nothing but reloaded minor PF ammo ejection was 3-4 feet.
Guessing having the slide held back for 7 straight hours got some of the stiffness out of the recoil spring

I have been to range 3 times now with mine. I shoot 135 gr lead bullets. Over 3.5 gr of Titegroup, recoil feels normal and ejection is 100%, but brass does not go very far.

With 3.2 gr of TG (my "mild" load) the brass ejects perfectly and ejects the same as the stronger stuff. I get the impression that for some reason this gun ejects all brass the same distance - not far.

Accuracy is excellent and rapid fire is better than average because of the excellent sights.

Trigger on mine is light crisp and with a very short reset. 3.8 pounds.
