Cannon fuse source?

Thanks guys. I'll check with 2 paws.:)

GGUTHRIE - I can mail to a US address also. Is Canada Customs ok with bringing back cannon fuse?

There is a fireworks place in Belleville Ontario which sells it. I bought some two years ago there. I will try to find the name and address. I believe I have it....it was very cheap as I recall and it came in a large roll. Dave

S.I.R. mail order in Winnipeg used to sell it in 10 (15?) foot packs.
I think they still do, but I haven't looked at their catalog lately.

Jim

SIR no longer sells cannon fuse - they were told to pull it off their shelves about 10 months ago by (?)mines and natural resources. From what I've heard, it is now a controlled (see restricted use) product.

Yeesh, another bit of fall-out from 9\11, I'll wager... but it's odd that they
only had to pull it around 10 months ago.

They used to sell it for years.

Cheers,

Jim

maybe someone should tell wholesale in calgary that lil tidbit... they had a few pack's on the shelf with the muzzle loader stuff 2 week's ago when i was there

Try this place:

pyroplanet.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=61&zenid=3d22f2196ecd1884a717072978b813d4[/url]

He ships to Canada, and the prices are very good as far as I can tell.

I just calle McLeods Blasting in Victoria re; fuse, he hasn't heard anything about it being restricted, but says he'll check into it.I'l call again tomorrow for an update.
I persanally have brought fuse back with me from the States, always declared it and haven't had a problem, but that was 11 months ago ?
Anyone have any hard facts about the restrictions ?
Cheers nessy.

It isn't restricted, but does need to be approved like all fireworks and explosives. I lloked at bringing in a container of fuse from China.
